•"FRIENDLY"Vessels 2020 "Sadurda Yathra 2020" is a seminar organized by the old boys of colombo university as a great help to our own brothers who are sitting for GCE O/L examination this time. It was a great example of showing gratitude for the own school after years of learning. The first phase of the project was started on September 25. 

•All the arrangements have been made to hold some special programs on the occasion of WORLD CHILDREN'S DAY on 02.10.2020 for all the children in primary and secondary sections with the contribution of the principal and the staff. The aim is to break free from the monotonous learning and allow students to have fun by avoiding physical,mental and spiritual stress.


•Grade 11 diagnostic tests were successfully completed and this can be described as a prior preparation for their GCE Ordinary Level Examination.Futhermore, the term teats of the students who are to sit the GCE(A/L) Examination this year are also being conducted successfully.


•The Past Pupils of91-94 batch has organized a seminar to enhance the knowledge of the students who are hoping to sit for the Grade 05 Scholarship Examination at our school this year with the help of an external resource person. The Scholarship seminar will be held on 28.09.2020 at 8.00 a.m. at the school mainhall.

The recruitment of new members ___________   The  new members were recruited for astronomy club & the announcing team through a practical test on 30th and 31st of March. Among most of the participants, members were selected according to the best perforomances  Extra classes for grade 11 students _________ Students who are sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year do not have much time to cover the syllabus and discuss the question papers.Therefore, we have decided to hold extra classes in the evenings from 1.30-3.30pm. • O/L Examination 2020 continuous successfully_________________________   The Grade 11 Ordinary Level Examination's first day was commenced successfully on 1st of March at the sc hool premises under the given health guidelines of the ministry of health. The GCE O / L Examination is to be run successfully for about a week from March 1st.  • Prepare before risk_____________   A few days before the GCE O / L Exam this time, the principal of our school contracted the Covid-19 virus.Therefore, the entire school was disinfected and several teachers were quarantined considering the health safety of the children.
