• Second season ended ____________________________

The threat posed to the education of children in this country by the CovID-19 virus has had a profound effect on children.

That is, the children did not receive the first few days and the second few days.

Therefore, the remaining days of the second term were scheduled to end successfully on 10.10.2020, but considering the current situation, the Government has taken steps to commence the second term holiday from 05.10.2020.

    Therefore, the third term is scheduled to commence on 16.11.2020

• Due to the current situation of the corona virus, the government has decided to start the school holidays from 05.10.2020.

Therefore, we had to cancel all the programmes organized for the teachers' day.


• Grade 11 diagnostic tests were successfully completed and this can be described as a prior preparation for their GCE Ordinary Level Examination.

The marks obtained by the students from that diagnosis test are ready to send to the zonal education office.


•Distributing admissions  for the GCE A / L examination which is scheduled to commence on 12.10.2020 was held on 05.10.2020.

      All A / L students were requested to come to the school in compliance with the college rules

The recruitment of new members ___________   The  new members were recruited for astronomy club & the announcing team through a practical test on 30th and 31st of March. Among most of the participants, members were selected according to the best perforomances  Extra classes for grade 11 students _________ Students who are sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year do not have much time to cover the syllabus and discuss the question papers.Therefore, we have decided to hold extra classes in the evenings from 1.30-3.30pm. • O/L Examination 2020 continuous successfully_________________________   The Grade 11 Ordinary Level Examination's first day was commenced successfully on 1st of March at the sc hool premises under the given health guidelines of the ministry of health. The GCE O / L Examination is to be run successfully for about a week from March 1st.  • Prepare before risk_____________   A few days before the GCE O / L Exam this time, the principal of our school contracted the Covid-19 virus.Therefore, the entire school was disinfected and several teachers were quarantined considering the health safety of the children.
