Schools were reopened for children

     Schools that postponed due to covid-19 virus were reopened on 23rd November in 2020 following hygiene measures.


      But it is noteworthy that many students got absent and only about 90 children have come to school within the last week.





Online Education for students who do not attend school

_______________



    Schools were re-opened but showed a sharp  decline in student attendance.Therefore, our school has decided to provide online education for students who do not attend school. Accordingly, this has been taken to provide this online education only for the Grade 2,3,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 students.

However, students who do not have facilities for online education and for the students who are willing to come to school ; our classrooms are still opened for them.

An old boy of our school has donated 2 laptops to the school for online primary education.

We greatly appreciate the donation and our heart full of thanks are always with them on be half of all the churchians.




Secondary Education Quality Improvement

     According to the Secondary Education  Quality improvement, our school received 69% marks.

It was a great achievement for our school, which means that our school is much more developed than it was before.

We were able to achieve this with the dedication and contribution of all the academic and non academic staff along with the support of our own brothers.


Congratulations mother Christ Church! We will grow up with you for better.

The recruitment of new members ___________   The  new members were recruited for astronomy club & the announcing team through a practical test on 30th and 31st of March. Among most of the participants, members were selected according to the best perforomances  Extra classes for grade 11 students _________ Students who are sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year do not have much time to cover the syllabus and discuss the question papers.Therefore, we have decided to hold extra classes in the evenings from 1.30-3.30pm. • O/L Examination 2020 continuous successfully_________________________   The Grade 11 Ordinary Level Examination's first day was commenced successfully on 1st of March at the sc hool premises under the given health guidelines of the ministry of health. The GCE O / L Examination is to be run successfully for about a week from March 1st.  • Prepare before risk_____________   A few days before the GCE O / L Exam this time, the principal of our school contracted the Covid-19 virus.Therefore, the entire school was disinfected and several teachers were quarantined considering the health safety of the children.
