With the increase in the incidence of coronavirus infection in Sri Lanka, there has been a rapid increase in the number of patients admitted to the intensive care units.

These preventative measures include keeping hands clean, wearing masks, keeping people away, avoiding crowded places, and avoiding crowded places if you have symptoms such as coughs, sore throats, or colds.


Therefore, the Ministry of Health urges you to do your utmost to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease again throughout the country by following the health guidelines perfectly throughout the coming period, minimizing unwanted travel, and acting in a way that protects others if they have symptoms. We appeal to all Sri Lankans on behalf of



Covid-19 virus spreads to schools

With the current covid-19 situation, 4 students of our school have been informed to be tested covid positive.
Therefore, the teachers of our school are also staying at home and engaging in self-quarantine.



School holidays again
________

Due to the third wave of Covid-19, the government has decided to give school holidays from April 11, 2021 until further notice, thinking of the safety of the students.
However, in view of the current situation, all schools have decided to conduct online education until a definite decision is taken regarding the starting of schools.

   It has been decided to provide education to students using zoom technology from 10th of May 2021 for students who are studying from grade 1-13

    It continues to be sucessful more than we expect.

The recruitment of new members ___________   The  new members were recruited for astronomy club & the announcing team through a practical test on 30th and 31st of March. Among most of the participants, members were selected according to the best perforomances  Extra classes for grade 11 students _________ Students who are sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year do not have much time to cover the syllabus and discuss the question papers.Therefore, we have decided to hold extra classes in the evenings from 1.30-3.30pm. • O/L Examination 2020 continuous successfully_________________________   The Grade 11 Ordinary Level Examination's first day was commenced successfully on 1st of March at the sc hool premises under the given health guidelines of the ministry of health. The GCE O / L Examination is to be run successfully for about a week from March 1st.  • Prepare before risk_____________   A few days before the GCE O / L Exam this time, the principal of our school contracted the Covid-19 virus.Therefore, the entire school was disinfected and several teachers were quarantined considering the health safety of the children. We appreciate the great work done by our school to get the students to sit for the examination in a very safe manner.
