As schools are not being held due to the covid-19 virus in the country, we are going to start an open book test to cover the lessons that our students missed.
Students should read the textbooks directly and answer the questiona. Timetables for this will be given as soon as possible.



A special meeting for teachers ____________________


    The Covid-19 virus has disrupted the education of school children. A special meeting has been organized for teachers on November 17, 2020 to discuss about the solutions that can be taken for grade 10,11 students' education ; who are facing the GCE Ordinary Level Examination in near future.

   Isira Rasanjana, a grade 11 student of Christ Church Boys' college passed away on 5th of November due to an electric shock.


Therefore, due to the plight of his family ; the students, teachers and the past pupils of our school collected a fund for his family to donate. As a school community we were able to donate nearly more than one half lakhs.

The recruitment of new members ___________   The  new members were recruited for astronomy club & the announcing team through a practical test on 30th and 31st of March. Among most of the participants, members were selected according to the best perforomances  Extra classes for grade 11 students _________ Students who are sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year do not have much time to cover the syllabus and discuss the question papers.Therefore, we have decided to hold extra classes in the evenings from 1.30-3.30pm. • O/L Examination 2020 continuous successfully_________________________   The Grade 11 Ordinary Level Examination's first day was commenced successfully on 1st of March at the sc hool premises under the given health guidelines of the ministry of health. The GCE O / L Examination is to be run successfully for about a week from March 1st.  • Prepare before risk_____________   A few days before the GCE O / L Exam this time, the principal of our school contracted the Covid-19 virus.Therefore, the entire school was disinfected and several teachers were quarantined considering the health safety of the children.
