Open Book Test cancelled _________________

     As the school will be opened for students on 23rd  November  2020, we had to cancel the open book test organized by the school.
    We apologize for that and ask for your support to carry on the school work as usual according to the given timetable.

     Schools that were not held due to the covid-19 virus are reopening for the students to start their 3rd term.
     
     Accordingly, schools are scheduled to be held on 23rd November 2020 in accordance with the given health guidelines.



Scholarship Results Released ________________________________________

      The results of the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination held on 11th October  2020 were released on 15th  November 2020.This year's scholarship examination was very special as 10 students scored 200 marks.

      However, this time the scholarship examination was held very successfully amidst the threat of covid 19 pandemic and the results were released successfully.

        There are 31 students in our school who passed the scholarship examination this year and the best result is 192.


New schedule for the 3rd term

       The government has decided to reopen the schools for 3rd term on 23rd of November and our Principal informed ; that all the students from grade 10-13 should come to school everyday and the other students are requested to come as follows.

Grade 6 - Only on Monday
Grade 7- Only on Tuesday
Grade 8- Only on Wednesday
Grade 9 - Only on Thursday and Friday

The recruitment of new members ___________   The  new members were recruited for astronomy club & the announcing team through a practical test on 30th and 31st of March. Among most of the participants, members were selected according to the best perforomances  Extra classes for grade 11 students _________ Students who are sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year do not have much time to cover the syllabus and discuss the question papers.Therefore, we have decided to hold extra classes in the evenings from 1.30-3.30pm. • O/L Examination 2020 continuous successfully_________________________   The Grade 11 Ordinary Level Examination's first day was commenced successfully on 1st of March at the sc hool premises under the given health guidelines of the ministry of health. The GCE O / L Examination is to be run successfully for about a week from March 1st.  • Prepare before risk_____________   A few days before the GCE O / L Exam this time, the principal of our school contracted the Covid-19 virus.Therefore, the entire school was disinfected and several teachers were quarantined considering the health safety of the children.
