    The construction work of the dining area and the sports lounge, which was an issue for the students of playing cricket in our school was completed on 2020/12/20.

    We would like to thank all the members of the Cricket Association, especially the Principal / Cricket Coach and the President of the Cricket Association, for their dedicated work, wealth and time  to complete this project successfully..



•The 03rd Term was ended

    The threat posed to the education of children in this country by the CovID-19 virus has had a profound effect on children.That is, the children did not receive the first few days and the second few days of second and third terms.


     Therefore, taking into consideration the safety of children, the government has implemented the third term holiday from 23rd December 2020 to 11th January 2021.



•Commencement of the school for new term in 2021
__________


   Due to the current covid-19 pamdemic, the government has decided to reopen schools from 11th January 2021.Accordingly, our school will start on that relevant date.


     The existing class timetables will remain in effect until 3rd of February 2021, and the new timetables will be given with the commencement of grade 06 and grade 01 after 3rd of February.



•The 2020 year end teachers' meeting was cancelled

  The year-end teachers' meeting and get-together for 2020 was not held this time due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Let's hope for the best to have all the cancelled events to be a success in the upcoming new year.

The recruitment of new members ___________   The  new members were recruited for astronomy club & the announcing team through a practical test on 30th and 31st of March. Among most of the participants, members were selected according to the best perforomances  Extra classes for grade 11 students _________ Students who are sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year do not have much time to cover the syllabus and discuss the question papers.Therefore, we have decided to hold extra classes in the evenings from 1.30-3.30pm. • O/L Examination 2020 continuous successfully_________________________   The Grade 11 Ordinary Level Examination's first day was commenced successfully on 1st of March at the sc hool premises under the given health guidelines of the ministry of health. The GCE O / L Examination is to be run successfully for about a week from March 1st.  • Prepare before risk_____________   A few days before the GCE O / L Exam this time, the principal of our school contracted the Covid-19 virus.Therefore, the entire school was disinfected and several teachers were quarantined considering the health safety of the children.
