    Students who were unable to face the primary second term online test ,got another chance to face it on 7th of November from 6 am - 8pm by using the previous links and passwords.



•A/L Examination was successfully ended up

            Amidst the impact of the Covid-19 virus, 2020 A / L exam was  end up successfully within this week.

         The GCE Advanced Level Examination was started on October 12th and ended up on 6th of November.


•Second  term school vacation was extended for2 weeks

     Accordingly, the second term school holiday has been extended and decided to reopen the schools for third term on November 23rd.

     The decision to delay the opening of schools due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus was taken at a discussion under the patronage of the Minister of Education.


•We lost one great Churchian.

     Isira Rasanjana, a grade 11 student of Christ Church Boys' college passed away on 5th of November due to an electric shock.

      The accident had taken place while  he was cultivating in the Akuratiya paddy field.

       His funeral rites were done on 7th November at Baddegama crematorium.

The recruitment of new members ___________   The  new members were recruited for astronomy club & the announcing team through a practical test on 30th and 31st of March. Among most of the participants, members were selected according to the best perforomances  Extra classes for grade 11 students _________ Students who are sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year do not have much time to cover the syllabus and discuss the question papers.Therefore, we have decided to hold extra classes in the evenings from 1.30-3.30pm. • O/L Examination 2020 continuous successfully_________________________   The Grade 11 Ordinary Level Examination's first day was commenced successfully on 1st of March at the sc hool premises under the given health guidelines of the ministry of health. The GCE O / L Examination is to be run successfully for about a week from March 1st.  • Prepare before risk_____________   A few days before the GCE O / L Exam this time, the principal of our school contracted the Covid-19 virus.Therefore, the entire school was disinfected and several teachers were quarantined considering the health safety of the children.
