•Diagnosis test for students who will sitting to O/L Examination this year

From 12th january to 25th the Diagnostic tests are scheduld to be conducted for Grade 11 students who are sitting for the GCE (O/L) Examination. This is a programme aimed at measuring the performence of students to successfully appear for the GCE (O/L) Examination through question papers prepared by the Southern Provincial Education Office.





•Schools reopened for the children 1st term 2021

At the beginning of the year 2021, the daily activities of the world were disrupted due to the Covid-19 virus which spread all over the world. However, due to the impact of the corona virus on Sri Lanka, schools as well as government institutions had to be closed 12 th November 2020.


The closed schools are to reopen for 1st term 2021 on 11th January, subject to prescribed guidelines. It was opened following days.

Our school has organized the first Pirith
program of the year related to opening the school for the first term on January 11 th at 7.30 am in the main hall.
Thank you to the school staff who contributed and donated things for this programme to be a success



•A special meeting & a Shramadana campaign washeld successfully

A special meeting had been organized for parents on January 08th, 2021 at 8.30 a.m. in school mainhall to discuss about the solutions that can be taken for students' education in the upcoming year;

After that meeting, a shramadana campaign was organized under the guidance of the teachers to prepare classes for the new year of 2021.

The recruitment of new members ___________   The  new members were recruited for astronomy club & the announcing team through a practical test on 30th and 31st of March. Among most of the participants, members were selected according to the best perforomances  Extra classes for grade 11 students _________ Students who are sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year do not have much time to cover the syllabus and discuss the question papers.Therefore, we have decided to hold extra classes in the evenings from 1.30-3.30pm. • O/L Examination 2020 continuous successfully_________________________   The Grade 11 Ordinary Level Examination's first day was commenced successfully on 1st of March at the sc hool premises under the given health guidelines of the ministry of health. The GCE O / L Examination is to be run successfully for about a week from March 1st.  • Prepare before risk_____________   A few days before the GCE O / L Exam this time, the principal of our school contracted the Covid-19 virus.Therefore, the entire school was disinfected and several teachers were quarantined considering the health safety of the children.
