The Grade 11 Ordinary Level Examination's first day was commenced successfully on 1st of March at the school premises under the given health guidelines of the ministry of health. We appreciate the great work done by our school to get the students to sit for the examination in a very safe manner

 The Ordinary Level Examination and the threat posed to the education of children in this country by the CovID-19 virus has had a profound effect on children.That is, the O/L examination was postponed as children did not receive the first few days and the second few days of second and third terms. Therefore, the government has implemented school holidays from 25th February 2021 to 15th March 2021 due to O/L examination 



•Congratulations churchians___________

 Christ church boys' college became the 2nd runner-up from the code fest organized by the SLIIT. We would like to thank and congratulate all those who supported us, especially Mrs. Dilmi Kariyawasam, the teacher incharge of ICT of our school & our students who. participated for the competition by representing the school. 


•After quarantine___________________


 The principal of our school, Mr.Dhammika Priyadarshana, was tested positive with covid-19 infection on February 15th.It is said that the principal contacted a covid-19 infected person who came to the school. Therefore, pcr tests were carried out on about 54 academic and non academic staff members and it was confirmed that they were all negative. The second report also proved negative and the principal returned home after being quarantined and by finishing all the treatments.

The recruitment of new members ___________   The  new members were recruited for astronomy club & the announcing team through a practical test on 30th and 31st of March. Among most of the participants, members were selected according to the best perforomances  Extra classes for grade 11 students _________ Students who are sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year do not have much time to cover the syllabus and discuss the question papers.Therefore, we have decided to hold extra classes in the evenings from 1.30-3.30pm. • O/L Examination 2020 continuous successfully_________________________   The Grade 11 Ordinary Level Examination's first day was commenced successfully on 1st of March at the sc hool premises under the given health guidelines of the ministry of health. The GCE O / L Examination is to be run successfully for about a week from March 1st.  • Prepare before risk_____________   A few days before the GCE O / L Exam this time, the principal of our school contracted the Covid-19 virus.Therefore, the entire school was disinfected and several teachers were quarantined considering the health safety of the children.
